Accommodation; Tourists working in the gardens, tourists taking part in preparing local food, tourists visiting the communities and working with them, tourists visiting local places. PROMOTING ECOTOURISM AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE Eco-Agric Uganda agricultural demonstration site makes use of a combination of agro-ecology and eco-tourism. It is based on agricultural production and focuses on tourism management. Its services are a combination of tourism and agriculture. It grows crops for tourism purposes first and then sold off to earn income for both local and international people. Eco-Agric Uganda’s demonstration farm integrates agriculture with tourism. It involves winery tours, rural bed and breakfast, Life of an everyday farmer, visiting fruits and vegetable farms, floriculture among any other things that concern agriculture. Eco-Agric Uganda demonstration farm is located in Hoima district three kilometers from Hoima central market, just behind Eco-Agric Uganda market. The demonstration farm was set up
The Benefit Contribution of the Activity to the World
Eco-Agric Uganda demonstration site has generated Revenue to the government. When tourists visit the farms, they pay some money WHICH is injected in the development of the country in providing services to the people. Eco-Agric Uganda demonstration site has, has also help in creation of the, markets for the farmers so that their products are sold directly to the clients they will be supplying to, these helps in generating income that has help improve on their standards of living. Eco-Agric Uganda demonstration site has provided employment opportunities to the local communities who are employed to work in these farms. Eco-Agric Uganda demonstration site has also help in educating the public on the modern methods of farming that can result in improvement of agriculture in the country thus realizing high out put when the plants are harvested.

Project Details
The project helped 120 absolutely poor women and 52 girls break the poverty cycle through sustainable farming (commercial mushroom and vegetable growing), improving girl’s access to education, plus access to sexual reproductive health services. This was attained by Eco-Agric Uganda supporting 52 girls (26 in primary plus 26 in secondary level) from absolutely poor households access education and 120 poor women get income from mushroom and sustainable vegetable growing, improving food security/nutrition and income among the beneficiaries plus their household members. The 52 girls was given School fees, scholastic materials and sanitary pads for one year to support them stay in school. After one year, women was getting stable income from mushroom and vegetable growing hence paying school fees and provide scholastic materials to their children in the subsequent years. The 120 women will get 32 trainings (conducted at group level) to start commercial mushroom growing, sustainable vegetable and fruit tree growin
